Brandy’s Automotive – Car Repair Questions and Answers

My engine uses about a quart of oil every 1,000 miles. Should I be concerned?

Not if you plan to sell or trade your vehicle soon. An engine that uses a quart of oil every 1,000 miles is starting to show the effects of wear. The amount of oil it is using is still acceptable, but it will gradually increase as the miles add up. When it reaches the point where it’s using a quart every 500 miles or less, it’s time for an overhaul.

Had some car trouble coming through town and had to stay overnight. The next morning I went into Brandy's Auto and told him we were passing through and needed some help on the car. Tom checked it out and made time for me that morning to get me back on the road within a couple hours! I was very impressed with his customer service! I went here because of other customer reviews and now I'm happy to leave mine. Thanks Tom!
